Step Into the Void – a Breathtaking Glass Skywalk in the Alps, France

The Aiguille du Midi, the Mont Blanc range, France. The great attraction has been built on the Aiguille du Midi, next to the tallest peak in Europe – Mont Blanc. In the 1,035 m (3,396 ft) high the glass box attracts adventurers, who are eager to experience the vast landscape of the Alps.
It took three years to build the glass skywalk and it was finally opened on December 21st, 2013 (lucky us). It is known as the Step Into the Void – since one kilometer of void opens below your feet. The glass is 12 mm (omg...) thick, but the visitors have nothing to be afraid of – they won’t fall.

How to get there?
The visitors have to take two cable cars straight from Chamonix.

Mulle oleks sinna astumine küll terve reisi suurim challenge [kaisa.]
